Our Story
Liberty Geotech provides geotechnical engineering, material testing, laboratory testing and environmental site assessment (ESA) to the Spokane, Coeur d'Alene and Sandpoint areas.
Ben Vance, P.E. started the business using a spare bedroom and the garage at his home in Liberty Lake. He dreams of one day selling individual franchises to aspiring entrepreneurial engineers. "Nothing would bring quite as much satisfaction as seeing others enjoying the same level of success."
Liberty Geotech aims to establish long-standing relationships with architects, contractors, and fellow engineers in the area. Liberty Geotech has performed hundreds of geotechnical engineering projects in some of the region's most challenging geologies. From the bottomless soft clay in Sandpoint to the steep hillsides around the region's gorgeous lakes. We enjoy the most challenging project. For material testing, we pride ourselves in sending out reports the next day. So far in 2023, 81% of field reports have been transmitted within 1 day of the site visit.
